What was the project – Launch video for Silver Spoon’s new product range – Half Spoon Sugar, which provides all the flavour of sugar, with only half the calories.
What did we do? – Nomadic teamed up with our friends at Sand Visuals to produce a launch video for Silver Spoon’s Half Spoon sugar. Using our experience in commercial videos to provide lighting, colour grading and post digital animation that matches the natural style of stop motion video animation. Sand visuals provided the on set frame by frame hand animation to create a show stopping ignorable campaign that aired across multiple platforms.
Crew size – Producer, Animator, Gaffer, Stylist, digital animator, agency advising remotely via video link.

Result – Launched a brand new category in an extremely competitive market across Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsburys, Waitrose and Asda. Brining a classic brand into 2023 standards.
Standout moment from the shoot – Dog’s on set… It’s a big no no for 90% of the shoots we film. Dogs barking, being disruptive, allergies or generally slowing the shoot down have been some of the reasons we have omitted dogs on set. But this was a different shoot, we had no audio to record… everyone on set was not only fine with having a dog on set, but excited. Enter Digby the dachshund, a friendly and chatty dog from animating experts Den and Agnes, creating a dog-friendly environment for filming meant huge rewards. Mostly puppy cuddles between takes and chief happiness officer.
